Dean Henderson is on the verge of signing a new contract at Manchester United.
The young goalie is yet to gain a spot in the Red Devils first team due to the likes of David De Gea and Sergio Romero available at Old Trafford.
Henderson was sent out on loan last season to Sheffield United where he helped the side get promoted from the Championship Cup tournament to the Premier League.
But at it stands, Henderson, who has just twelve months on his current deal with Man Utd is about to sign a new deal with the Red Devils, this is according to the Daily Mail.
However, Daily Mail noted that there is a condition to the new deal which states that Dean Henderson will be allowed to go out on loan again this year.
With this, Henderson will most likely return to Sheffield on loan where he would get chances to play in the EPL.
And if his performance should be impressive again, then he stands a chance of playing under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The deal is a good one for all in the sense that Man Utd wouldn’t lose the young goalie, he would get the chance to improve, and Sheffield would hope he helps them avoid relegation.
