4-2-3-1: Chelsea predicted lineup vs Salzburg

Chelsea face Austrian Side Red Bull Salzburg in their latest pre-season friendly on Wednesday in Austria. Manager Frank Lampard has been able to tinker with his team so far as he mauls the best 11 for the EPL opener at Old Trafford.

The Blues have been in good form with a number of players impressing the former England international. It is expected that Lampard will name a strong squad for the clash against Salzburg.

Spanish ace Kepa Arizabalaga should start despite not playing in the friendly against Reading last week. The back four should be the most likely quartet that would face Manchester United in August.

Club captain Cesar Azpilicueta should start at right back while Brazilian Emerson would star at the opposing flank. David Luiz and Kurt Zouma are likely to be the centre back pairing in Salzburg.

The midfield could see a new pairing with Mateo Kovacic and Bakayoko likely to feature from the start. Red hot midfielder Mason Mount should be recalled to the starting line up after netting a brace from the bench against Reading.

Christian Pulisic could start the game, as the American has a large burden to carry after the exit of Eden Hazard this summer. Spanish winger Pedro should start on the right side of the attack. Tammy Abraham has been impressive and looks likely to lead the line in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
