Man Utd are likely to sell their striker, Romelu Lukaku this summer to the Italian side, Inter Milan.
The 26-year-old striker has been linked with a move to Italy where Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte is seeking to sign him as a replacement for Mauro Icardi.
Man Utd on their part seem ready to let the Belgian striker leave following his poor outing last season with 15 goals in 45 appearances to his name.
Coach Ole Solskjaer is seeking for a clinical goal poacher in the final third, which may mean he is preparing ahead for life without Lukaku at Old Trafford next summer.
Daily Mail report that the Belgian striker following Man Utd return from their preseason tour jetted out to his home country, Belgium to meet with his agent on a likely departure to Inter this summer.
The report added that Lukaku is valued at £80 million by Man Utd and a talk over possible transfer is expected to be completed in the next 48 hours.
It is, however, uncertain if the Italian side will still push for a transfer at the price demanded by the Red Devils considering Lukaku’s poor performance last season.
But with Antonio Conte now at the helms of affairs at Inter, it looks like the deal could yet happen after all.
Inter have until September 2 to decide as that is when the Italian transfer market will close while Man Utd have until August 8. So if no deal come up before next month, the EPL side might not give in as there wouldn’t be time to sign a replacement.
