Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to get back into the top four on the EPL table next season after Man United finished at the 6th spot last season and were unable to qualify for the Uefa Champions League.
One of the ways the Norwegian feels Man Utd can return to the forefront is by signing new players especially those that can score goals.
The Red Devils have finally found one in Portugal international, Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon.
Reports from Portugal over the weekend reveal that Man Utd have reached an agreement worth £55 million with Lisbon for Fernandes.
However, another report from Express added that Fernandes will move to Old Trafford in a couple of hours where he is expected to undergo his medical before the official announcement is made.
The report hinted that the official announcement is expected to made latest on Tuesday.
Apart from Man Utd, the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur had taken interest in Portugal midfielder before they dropped out.
Fernandes came to the limelight last season after he scored 28 goals and created 14 assists for Lisbon last season.
The Portugal international is a good purchase for the Red Devils especially as he has the penchant for scoring goals.
