Arsenal FC under coach Unai Emery have been able to make some progress in the summer transfer window despite the limited transfer budget.
Unlike the days of former coach, Arsene Wenger, where most times the Gunners would wait till the last days of the transfer window to seal deals, Emery has been able to do things differently.
Arsenal have signed Gabriel Martinelli and it is now becoming obvious that the Gunners might land two players next week.
Goal.com have confirmed that Arsenal have sealed a deal with French side Saint-Etienne for William Saliba.
The deal is expected to be announced by the French side next week. According to Goal.com, Saliba has accepted a five-year deal with Arsenal for the sum of £27 million.
However, the young centre-back will have to remain in the Ligue 1 for one year before joining Arsenal.
The Gunners are happy with the deal especially as they were able to beat rival side, Tottenham to sign Saliba.
Also, Arsenal are expected to seal a deal that will see Real Madrid midfielder, Dani Ceballos arrive the Emirates Stadium on loan next week. The report from Spain disclosed that the Los Blancos are ready to let Ceballos join Arsenal for one year without a buyout clause.
This comes after coach Zinedine Zidane said he doesn’t have the midfielder in his plan for next season.
Arsenal see Dani Ceballos as an ideal replacement for Aaron Ramsey.
Hopefully the deals will be made official in a matter of days.
