Arsenal are already looking dangerous ahead of the 2019/2020 season, which is scheduled to commence this weekend. Manager Unai Emery has been able to reinforce his attack wing this summer with the addition of Pepe Nicolas to the formation.
But recent report suggest that he is working on improving the defence with addition of at least two players for the new season.
For this reason, Arsenal have been linked with transfer moves for Daniele Rugani and Dayot Upamecano, according to the Guardian.
Arsenal will have spend a lot of money to get the two players to join them this summer.
Reports reveal the North London club are ready to submit a transfer bid worth £55 million for Upamecano. They would, however, have to convince RP Leipzig, who are demanding £92 million to let him leave.
Arsenal are also linked with a move for Italy international, Daniele Rugani this summer. The Gunners had taken interest in a defender in the past but this time around they want him at the club.
However, Juventus have put his transfer price at £50 million, which is quite a high amount considering the fact that he is not a regular player at Turin.
With less than four days to the close of the summer transfer window, Arsenal may not be able to sign any of the two players, however, they have the chance to sign Kieran Tierney from Celtic if all works out fine.
