Aston Villa have been the busiest club in the EPL this summer with the club confirming nine transfers so far. Their transfer spree is far from over as the club has been linked with a move for Liverpool forward Harry Wilson.
The young forward remains a subject of speculation despite partaking in Liverpool’s preseason tour this summer. Wilson was impressive last season on loan at Championship side Derby County as he was a key part of the clubs run to the Premier League playoff finals.
The 22-year-old scored 18 goals in all competitions last campaign and Villa wants the player to move to the West Midlands ahead of next season. It is understood that Villa are considering several moves one of which is a loan deal with an option to buy for £20 million at the end of the season.
Wilson could be tempted to move to the club as he is yet to get assurances of constant playing time at Anfield. It is thought that Liverpool are yet to give an official stance on their position regarding a deal but a good offer could sway the club into selling the forward.
It is reported that both clubs have engaged in early talks but nothing concrete has been agreed regarding a transfer. Villa have already broken their transfer record for Club Brugge forward Wesley Moraes and Wilson could be the next forward to join the club this summer.
