Juventus confident of reaching £180m agreement with Man Utd in coming days

The transfer linking Man Utd midfielder Paul Pogba to Real Madrid becomes clearer by the day and this time around it looks as though the Los Blancos are more confident that the transfer could happen.

World Cup winner, Pogba has been one of manager Zinedine Zidane’s top target ahead of the new season.

Although the EPL side have stated that French midfielder is not for sale, they have, however, put his transfer fee at £180 million, which is twice the amount they paid to Juventus for him three years ago.

Real Madrid have spent over £300 million on the transfer of the likes of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic this summer and the club’s president, Florentino Perez has declared that the club can’t meet up with the Red Devils demand.

However, Metro UK reports that Real Madrid have been able to raised around £100m following the sales of Mateo Kovacic, Marcos Llorente, and Theo Hernandez. Also, they expect some significant fee from the sales of James Rodriguez, who is expected to leave this summer as well.

ESPN hint that with this, the Los Blancos are now confident of sealing a transfer deal for Pogba.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t want the France international to leave as he wants to build the team around him next season, however, the Red Devils have lined up Bruno Fernandes as a replacement should Pogba leave this summer.
