Man United confident of sealing transfer of classy midfielder – not Fernandes

English Premier League side, Manchester United are in the race to sign 16-year-old player, Hannibal Mejbri, according to the reports.

The report added that the Red Devils are confident of sealing the deal and are close to completing the transfer deal with AS Monaco.

This is not the first time Man Utd will be linked with move to sign Mejbri as they submitted offers for him in the January window but was rejected by Monaco.

However, things seem to changed this time around as report disclosed Monaco are now ready to let him leave.

Sky Sports also confirmed the reports as they hinted that the deal could be completed in the ‘next 24 hours’. Another report reveal Man Utd could end up paying €10 million for Mejbri.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been linked with a number of players this summer, whom he wants to add to his team against next season.

Man Utd have already signed Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka but they are expecting some new faces before the close of the transfer window.

They have also been linked with a move to sign Harry Maguire, Paulo Dybala, Bruno Fernandes among others. This means the next few days would be busy at Old Trafford.
