Manchester United are still negotiating with Leicester over the transfer of key target Harry Maguire. The England international has been linked to the Red Devils in the past two windows but the Foxes have refused to budge in the valuation of the player.
Manchester United have already seen a £60 million bid refused by the club as they continue to hold out for £90 million.
The Old Trafford outfit believes that he is not worth the massive fee but are willing to pay £70 million for his services.
Maguire is also concerned about the current situation, as the 26-year-old is keen on making the move to the Manchester club. It is understood that Maguire missed training on Monday after calling in sick which has raised rumours of his exit.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on landing Maguire before the deadline day as he believes that the player can bring leadership to the defence. Maguire is regarded as the best defender in the England national team and can play the ball out from the back.
He is also a threat from set-pieces and would bring quality to the defence. From the looks of things this transfer is far from complete.
