The summer transfer window is still on and so far Arsenal have been able to complete some transfer deals despite their limited budget. However, the Gunners are expected to sell some of their players that are surplus to requirement going into the news season.
BBC Sport report that Arsenal young winger Xavier Amaechi has completed a four-year transfer deal move to German club, Hamburg.
According to the report, the German club will pay Arsenal £2.25 million, plus performance-related add-ons.
The report revealed that Amaechi had completed his medical with Hamburg on Saturday and will adorn the shirt No17 at his new club.
Prior to moving to Hamburg, top football clubs across Europe like Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan among others had taken interest in the youngster.
The England international joined Arsenal from Fulham in 2013, and he is regarded as one of the promising young wingers to look out for.
He was held down by injury last season but made his debut for Arsenal senior team during the club’s warm-weather trip to Dubai.
Selling Amaechi is not a bad deal for Arsenal considering the fact that they will make some money off him but we believe they should have added a buy-back clause to the deal for future purpose.
