There is good news for Manchester United fans as it has been revealed that the club is on the verge of completing the transfer of a long-term target.
The latest reports from Italy disclose that the Red Devils have finally reached an agreement with Serbian international, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
TheSun added that the top rated midfielder has agreed with Man Utd to take £5.4 million per year.
On the other hand, Lazio are demanding for £81 million for Milinkovic. The transfer fee is quite huge but should the Red Devils splash such amount it could be a clear indication that French international, Paul Pogba is on his way out of Old Trafford.
Like Pogba, the Serbian midfielder is tall and likes to move forward and has an eye for goals, which is the kind of player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants.
Lazio signed Milinkovic in 2015 from Genk and so far he has played in 125 matches and scored 22 goals.
It remains unclear how manager Ole Solskjaer will play the Serbian midfielder if Pogba stay put at Old Trafford.
The Norwegian may decide to have the trio of Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, and Milinkovic-Savic at the midfield next season.
We can only wait to see what becomes of the situation at Old Trafford in coming days.
