It looks as though Argentina international, Paulo Dybala is not the only forward Manchester United are willing to sign this summer.
While the Red Devils are still contemplating on a swap deal for Dybala that would see Lukaku move to Turin, reports have indicated that Man Utd are pushing for Mario Mandzukic from the same Juve.
Tuttosport reports that Man Utd are ready to pay £10 to £15 million for Croat striker.
The report added that Man Utd and the Juve have gotten to an advanced stage for Mandzukic and there are possibilities he could be confirmed on Monday.
This is not the first time Man Utd will be linked with a transfer move for Mandzukic as they had wanted to sign him earlier this year but he turned down their offer by signing a contract extension with the Old Ladies.
The Croat striker made 23 appearances for Juventus in the Seria A last season, where he scored nine goals and created six assists.
Mandzukic is a good striker no doubt but we don’t see any main reason for the Red Devils to sign him as they have more than enough attacking players in the team.
Also, the Croat is aging already, he is currently 33 years old which means he wouldn’t be a long-term option at Old Trafford.
